This soft, fabric-covered keyboard is alive with color, lights, sounds, and friendly animal faces. Its three settings allow newborns, infants, and toddlers to enjoy this magical, musical toy as they develop strength and dexterity. Use the easy-attach straps to mount the Kick and Play Piano to your infant's crib. The soft piano keys respond to your baby's natural kicking motion or light touch with dancing star-shaped lights and a medley of 10 different songs. The soothing sounds of familiar tunes make it a perfect bedtime companion, too. Automatic shut-off ensures long battery life and a peaceful rest after play. As your baby grows, adjust the piano to the second setting for animal sounds, drumbeats, and musical verses. Or, set it on the floor and switch to the third setting so your child can play it like a real piano with musical chords. The colorful fabric cover slips off easily and is machine washable (music to parents' ears). Requires three AA batteries, not included. --Melissa Wilson

A Definite Must Have
The Kick and Play Piano is one of the best toy purchases we have ever made. My 1 year old has it in her crib and plays with it whenever going down for a nap or for the night. She loves watching the lights and even in the middle of the night she'll roll over and turn it on to sooth her back to sleep. We've never had any trouble putting her down to bed and I attribute that to this toy. I highly recommend it!!!

This is a great toy that can grow with your child.
We purchased the Kick And Play Piano for our 3 month old at Christmas. She loves to listen to it play while she is going to sleep. Now that she is older we usually change the setting and she can listen to the animal sounds and music as she pushes the keys. When she gets older she will be able to play her own tunes on the toddler setting. When the cover gets dirty I take it off and wash it in the washing machine. I recommend this toy especially for any baby that has an "ear" for music.

Cool toy for babies (and parents!)
When I first bought this toy, my son was only 2 months old. I had much more fun with it than he did. But now by 10 months old he really loves it. Three settings, animal sounds with corresponding pictures, and it doesn't eat up batteries!!! Great possibilities for this toy! Love it!

Great fun in and out of the crib.
This piano was used both in in and out of the crib. Before my son could pull himself up, we kept the piano in his crib. We left it on so that in the morning, he'd entertain himself for a little while. However, during some of those restless nights, he'd roll into the piano, activate the music, and wake up needing to be soothed back to sleep. On those nights, we'd try to sneak into his room to turn it off before he'd awaken. Once our son could pull himself up, we removed the piano from his crib and he enjoyed playing with it on the floor. It's a musical toy that grows with your child.

My 6 month old daughter is loving this toy
This is the best $30 I've spent on a toy so far. It has lights, sounds, and a variety of settings so it's not the same sound over and over again. You pick the setting. Now that she has just started crawling, she likes to crawl on the keyboard which produces different sounds and amuses her. I think that she will grow into this toy and enjoy the variety (i.e., animal sounds versus songs) when she is older and can appreciate them. One little warning, when I purchased this toy I did not realize it has a soft keyboard (i.e., it has a soft fabric cover over the entire toy). This is great for little hands, and is good for machine washing, but is not ideal for wiping up frequent spit ups which come up easier on hard plastic.

Great Musical Fun for Your Little One
With it's 3 different musical settings, the Kick and Play Piano is great for all ages of babies. When she was a newborn my daughter loved listening to all the different nursery rhyme songs which it will play. It was a great soother at bedtime as you can make it play continuous music for several minutes. Then as she got older and figured out that kicking it made the sounds change, she loved the second setting, which plays animal sounds, drum beats, and short musical verses. A great time occupier for her when mommy needed a few minutes of free time in the morning. And now that she is close to a year old, we can take it out of the crib and set it flat on the floor, and she can use it like an actual piano, with the third setting which plays musical cords. This is a great toy, and was definately money well spent.

This toy was a gift for my infant, but my toddler loves it!
The Kick N' Play Piano was a gift for my 6-week old son for Christmas. I put it in his crib and turned it on when he would spend awake time there. When my toddler son hears the animal sounds and familiar nursery rhymes, he asks to play with the baby. Now that the baby is sitting up, they play in the crib together and my toddler is "teaching" his baby brother the different animal sounds. He'll say, "dog, cat, cow..." and the baby laughs at him. Which only encourages him to do more. I feel that both of my sons are learning more than just animal sounds, names and songs, they are also learning to play together and enjoy each other. This is such an important lesson and one they will both value as they get older. We have a house full of toys, but the Kick N' Play Piano can be enjoyed by both of my sons together and for that, I would have to say it's my favorite!
